Home remedies to get rid of blackheads

Many of us have oily skin, and this skin type creates a lot of problems besides shiny skin, also because it favors the appearance of blackheads. The problem is that these blackheads, in case of oily skin, multiply rapidly and are more visible.

A natural and easy to use solution to reduce your blackheads is to do yourself some face masks using natural ingredients that have antibacterial properties. They inhibit or destroy infectious germs that are responsible for the appearance of blackheads and of painful and unsightly pimples.

Baking soda. Baking soda is an effective treatment for blackheads and acne. It helps cleanse the skin of impurities, such as dust deposits. Mix two teaspoons of baking soda with mineral water to make a paste. Apply the paste generously to the affected skin and gently massage the area. Let it dry for a few minutes then rinse with warm water. Repeat once or twice a week.

Cinnamon. Cinnamon can be used to remove and prevent blackheads. Mix one teaspoon of cinnamon powder with honey to form a thick paste. Apply the paste on the affected area before bed and leave it overnight. In the morning wash your face with water. For best results, follow this treatment daily for about 10 days. You may also mix a one teaspoon of cinnamon powder with lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric powder (optional).

Lemon juice. Lemon juice is also used in the treatment of acne; but also help to eliminate blackheads. Nutrients and vitamins present in the lemon juice are good for all skin types. Prepare a facial scrub by mixing lemon juice with salt, yogurt and honey. Gently clean the affected area with this mixture and massage the affected area. You can also mix fresh lemon juice with milk or rose water to create a facial cleanser. Use it daily for 10-12 days.

Green tea. Green tea can also be used to treat blackheads. Mix a teaspoon of dried green tea leaves with water to make a paste. Gently rub the paste on the affected area for two or three minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Honey. Honey is good for oily skin and a good remedy for blackheads. Honey moisturizes and tightens pores, giving you a brighten skin. Apply raw honey on your face and leave it for about 10 minutes, then rinse your face with warm water.
